Craft beer and a hike… who would have thought the combination could be so successful?
Well, that is exactly what we did here at Craft Health Co with our event ‘Hike To Hiker’. It was a day filled with adventure, making new friends, and of course, enjoying some of the best craft beer that Brisbane has to offer!
Well over 50 people attended the event, and we were so thrilled to see such a variety of participants! There were men, women, kids, and even some furry friends who came along for the ride. The vibe throughout the day was just incredible. Everyone was chatting, laughing, and having a great time. People were busy sharing experiences, recommendations, and tips on how to keep motivated to work out while also indulging in their passion of craft beer. The Craft Health Co community was well and truly formed and in action.
We started the day with a 7km hike through Toohey Forest, just outside of Brisbane CBD. The scenic route was perfect for people of all fitness levels, as it was not too challenging, but still gave everyone a little bit of a sweat. Along the way, we paused to take in the beautiful views of the surrounding nature and grab fresh air. The mild workout was just enough to get everyone moving and energized for what turned out to be a delicious reward at the end.
Our final destination was Hiker Brewing Co, a brand new local brewery in the area. Upon arrival, the participants were greeted with a warm welcome and an array of craft beer to try. Everything from hazy IPAs to stouts, lagers and even ciders were on offer and it was amazing to see the reactions of people as they discovered new flavors and discussed their preferences.
A Community Feel
We cannot overstate the community vibe that was felt throughout the day. People were genuinely interested in making new connections and learning about each other’s experiences. Bonds were formed, friendships were made, and everyone left with a sense of motivation and drive, knowing they had combined an enjoyable passion with their fitness goals.
Craft Health Co would like to extend our sincere thanks to Phil Sharp from Hiker Brewing Co, who made this event possible. We are thrilled to have partnered with such a amazing local brewery. A couple of months ago when we met Phil (an avid hiker) it was clear that he was enthusiastic and open-minded about the idea of promoting a healthy lifestyle and our passion for craft beer. We saw this as a perfect partnership for our first event, and it really made for a great day and all the more memorable for everyone involved.
As founders of Craft Health Co, we are extremely proud of what we achieved with ‘Hike To Hiker’. We never imagined we would get so much positive feedback from the participants. People were so impressed with the concept, and we are excited for what the future holds. We are determined to make more events like this happen, and to create a large community of physically motivated craft beer drinkers.
As we move forward, we encourage other breweries that are as passionate as we are, to join us in promoting this healthy and fun lifestyle. Our aim is to create a strong movement for beer lovers who also want to maintain their physical fitness. It is possible to enjoy all things in moderation, and we want to show that you can focus on your health and still have fun at the same time.
Something To Build On
In conclusion, ‘Hike To Hiker’ was a huge success. We created a memorable experience for everyone involved, and the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive. We are committed to building our community, and we look forward to more events like this in the future.
We want to keep on promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, while still getting to taste the best craft beer in the area. Our mission is to inspire and motivate people to achieve their fitness goals, and we believe we are well on our way to achieving that goal. Cheers to the future of Craft Health Co, and to many more successful events!
